Minimal Modern Masterpiece

When an iconic Narendra Patel home was acquired behind the gates of an affluent neighborhood  in the very south of Palm Springs, featuring magnificent views of the mountains, we were asked to create a minimal, cooler  palette interior that flows into the landscape. The colors of the mountains poured in and set the tone. As a part time residence and a calm retreat for a single gentleman, we have achieved what he asked us for.

Furnishing the home with creme de la creme fabrics, custom fitted designs by our design studio, unique  pieces from Holly Hunt’s Studio, Overgaard & Dyrman, Charlotte Perriand,  to name a few, custom Erden rugs in wool and mohair, minimally designed kitchen in white oak veneer to read more like an extension of the living room suite the one large, open space.

The latest Cambria designs clad the bathroom walls, charcoal composite tub by BluBath works grounds the center of the primary bathroom. We left the walls for art acquisitions as the home lives as a new, but a few vintage collectibles found their spot throughout. Rosenthal porcelain, Czech and German glass, and even  antique rosary prayer beads invite us to be calm and….. ohmmmmm…
